Welcome to Ignite Church!
We are a ministry that has been called to build people of purpose, power and praise. We depend on the Holy Spirit to lead us exactly where God wants us to go. We know that an understanding of God’s Word is what you need to change your life. You will learn more in 90 days than you may have learned your entire life in church. No matter your success or struggle, this is a place you can call home.
Ministries for the church
The purpose of the Deacons’ Ministry is to serve the Lord and His Church by assisting the Pastor in meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the Church. Deacons are appointed and ordained by the Pastor. They assist by caring for the poor, the sick, the preparation and administration of the Ordinances; service of the Communion and Baptism; and in ministering to the spiritual interests of families in the Church and community.

“Give Us This Bread!”
So many times in the gospel our Lord Jesus uses things that are of this world (earthly) to teach us spiritual truths. Looking at the context of the scripture we see that Jesus is speaking with a crowd of people that have followed Him after much diligent search. And when they found Jesus, He said unto them, “I know why you are looking for me, it’s because you ate the loaves until you were full. Here our Lord is using food to relay a divine truth. The people in our passage came to Jesus hoping for bread. They sought Jesus because he was the means to satisfying their appetites. He could do something for them.
